Celtic Thunder is about to crash down on the Murat Theatre stage, bringing the audience a goosebump-inducing, hair-raising journey back to the age-old splendor of the great Irish grasslands and the music that echoes through the hills and valleys.

Celtic Thunder debuted in 2007 after conception in the brilliant mind of producer Sharon Browne, taking the world by storm. They were named Billboard’s Top World Music Artist and Top World Music Imprint and were hailed as the Top World Albums in 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2015, respectively. The group also has an incredibly large following on social media and all streaming platforms.

Celtic Thunder comprises vocalists Neil Byrne, Emmet Cahill, Damian McGinty, Ronan Scolard, and Colm Keegan, and is accompanied by the Celtic Thunder Band, comprising pianist and musical director David Munro, keyboardist and assistant musical director Seamus Brett, guitarist Conal Early, harp- and concertina player Seána Davey, bassist Charlie Foley, violinist Nicole Hudson, multi-instrumentalist Barry Kerr, and percussionist Declan O’Donoghue.
