The most beloved who-done-it board game now has a live performance, and if you were a lover of playing Clue with loved ones, this performance is not only going to be fun and exciting, but it's going to spark a sense of fond memories that is bound to bring a smile. As you would expect from a play based on a board game with multiple possible outcomes, this performance also has different ways that it can go. Even if you saw Clue - Live On Stage at different cities, this performance here in Indianapolis, Indiana could be completely different.
Trying to create a plot based on a board game isn't the easiest thing to do. One of the initial successes that the playwrights got right, though, is including some of the characters from the game as well as the iconic scenes where the murder may have taken place. Forgive us for dropping hints with spoilers, but then again, if you're checking out this performance, there's a good chance you're well-versed in the concept behind Clue, the board game! Not only do the figures from the game show up, but so do their outfits from the original game. The production team has taken some liberties with costume design, but there is an effort to keep it true to the source material. It's not like you're going to be puzzling over who Colonel Mustard is when he takes the stage!
There's always a sweet spot when it comes to the best seats for a theater show. Usually Clue - Live On Stage is up close to the audience, and they're looking for a sense of audience interaction, and that could mean that sitting near the stage is preferable than it is for other plays.
