Derek Hough is back and bigger than ever! Just days before Dancing With the Stars is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary, popular judge Derek Hough has surprised fans with some super exciting news. The 6x mirrorball champion and 4x Emmy winner said that he’s heading back on the road next year. “Be the first to grab your seats and experience a truly special night with an incredible live band and an amazing cast of dancers. I can’t wait to see you all there. Come Dance With Me,” Hough wrote on Instagram. The world class dancer is taking his brand new tour to Indianapolis next summer (2026). Symphony of Dance: Encore will be making an exciting stop at the world class Murat Theatre on 2nd July 2026. According to Hough’s official website, the show promises “fresh, high-energy choreography, breathtaking stage design, and Derek’s signature showmanship.” The event promises to blend ballroom, tap, salsa, hip-hop and more. Who’s excited for Derek Hough’s brand new tour? We know we are! Derek Hough — Symphony of Dance: Encore follows his well known 2023-2024 Symphony of Dance production and is expected to be his best live show yet. The tour kicks off on 24th June in El Cajon, California, and wraps up on 16th August in Las Vegas. Along the way, he will stop in major cities including Denver, St. Louis, Boston, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, and Hollywood.
As the last production was such a success, Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo (aka NappyTabs) will be returning as creative director and choreographer.

If you didn’t already know, Derek Hough is a pro Latin and ballroom dancer, choreographer, actor, singer, and television personality. He hit worldwide fame in 2007 when he was a professional dancer on the ABC dance competition series Dancing with the Stars. Derek Hough was a dancer on the show until 2016, and he won a record-breaking six times with his celebrity partners. For his stunning work, the star has received 14 nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Choreography, winning the award an impressive 4 times. He’s such a pro that he became a judge on the series beginning with its 29th season.
But that’s not all, Derek Hough is an all around entertainment powerhouse. He has appeared as an actor on stage with the West End premiere of Footloose: The Musical at the Novello Theatre and as well as the 2015 New York Spring Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The natural born entertainer also starred in the movie Make Your Move and had a recurring role in the ABC smash hit musical-drama Nashville.
