Rocky in Concert: The 50th Anniversary Tour Concert Experience comes to the majestic Murat theater at Old National Centre on Thursday, October 29th, 2026 for one night only! This special event recreates the underdog movie experience that resonates with everyone and features the Rocky film of your choice by Sylvester Stallone shown on the big screen in surround sound, accompanied by a full symphony performing the score from the film in real time!
The music of the film, especially "that important theme" and the rest of the soundtrack by Bill Conti, will be played by a full symphony orchestra in a way you have never heard before as the music swells in all its glory. Experience the music of Rocky as if you were in a theater for the first theatrical performance of Rocky.
Gates will open at 6:00 PM for the show. Rocky in Concert is an all-ages show and tickets start at $53. The show will be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana as part of this limited tour run.
Rocky in Concert will be performing at the Murat theater at Old National Centre on Thursday, October 29th, 2016. The doors will open up at 6:00 PM and the show will start at 7:00 PM. They will be showing the Rocky film on a huge screen and the full symphony will be performing the score live to the film.
The Academy Award nominated score by Bill Conti for the film will be performed live by the full symphony orchestra as the movie is shown on the big screen. As with all of the Rocky films the music plays a huge role and all of the songs are so animated and inspiring that it will bring a whole new appreciation for this timeless film. Many fans of the Rocky films know the score for the movie so well, such as 'Gonna Fly Now' (the animated version of the Rocky theme song) which is a classic in every sense of the word. It is one of the most celebrated film scores of all time. And one of the reasons it has been so well received and has earned its awards and accolades.
The Rocky in Concert Live event will be held at the historic Murat Theatre in the Old National Centre (502 N New Jersey St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204). There are approximately 2,500 to 2,675 high quality seats of multi level seating - including the Orchestra seats and Balcony seats. All performances at the venue will include wheelchair accessible seating locations. The Concessions are available prior to the show and at intermission. The Murat theatre at the Old National Centre has a large parking lot adjacent to the venue. The parking lot is located off of Alabama Street. The reserved section of the parking lot will be $15 per vehicle for the evening. There will also be first-come, first-served parking available in the lot as well as in a secondary lot. There is also plenty of street parking and other lots around the city that charge $10 to $20 per event.
