“It had been almost seven years since our last album release, but we wanted to put the same energy of ‘Monster’s Music Monthly’ into a full-length,” Todd said... “As an uncomplicated rock band, we like to do things that are ‘proper’—loud guitars, drums, big bass, and well-placed organ, keys, and lap steel. We road-tested every song on the record before recording a lick.”
Following their 40th anniversary celebrations in 2025, Big Head Todd and The Monsters kick off the new year with a run through the Midwest, East Coast, and South, from January to March 2026. The tour promotes their latest studio album, "Her Way Out," and first new music after a seven-year gap!

Big Head Todd and The Monsters finally named the band in 1986 and released their independent album, "Another Mayberry," in 1989 on BIG Records. The band finally signed up in 1992, and a year later "Sister Sweetly" went platinum, featuring four top 10 rock radio hits. They followed it in 1994 with "Strategem" which also produced several radio hits.
