Casting Crown’s upcoming tour is set to deliver a whole new experience. The band has been known for their incredibly exhilarating live shows. This 2023, the concerts are guaranteed to bring the ultimate Christian rock experience with a live orchestra. It is their 20th anniversary, after all. Led by the illustrious worship leader and esteemed musician Mark Hall, Casting Crowns will perform the biggest tour of their career.
In a statement, the Hall recounted their humble history and how they’ve grown as a band over the last two decades. "When we set out on this journey in 2003, we were the youth band from our church in Atlanta. We were amazed that we were even given the opportunity to record our songs and play them for the world, and even more amazed that people wanted to hear them. Now, 20 years later, we are still just as amazed that we have gotten to be a little part of your story through the years with our stores and songs."
Hall also added that this milestone would commemorate 20 years of Casting Crown’s expansive repertoire. Since releasing their debut album in 2003, the band has nine studio albums, most of which have earned multi-platinum, platinum, and gold. After dropping their sophomore album Lifesong in 2005, the band has consistently topped Billboard’s Christian charts and entered the Billboard 200. According to Hall, fans can look forward to hearing staples like “Scars in Heaven,” “Only Jesus,” “Nobody,” “Praise You In This Storm,” “East to West,” and many more. "This fall, as a way to celebrate all that God has done so far, we wanted to do something different. We'll be bringing an orchestra, creating some really special, unique moments, sharing stories from our journey together, and playing the songs you've enjoyed from us since the beginning. Casting Crowns was founded in 1999 in Florida by youth pastor Mark Hall. He later moved to Stockbridge, Georgia, and recruited more members. The band released their breakout hit “ If We Are the Body” in 2003, which peaked at number 3 on Billboard’s Christian charts. The band moved on to release several platinum and gold-certified albums. Casting Crowns’ exemplary work has won numerous accolades, including a Grammy Award, eight Grammy nominations, four American Music Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, and 17 GMA Dove Awards.
