Trying to create a narrative based on a board game isn't the simplest thing to do. One of the key elements that the playwrights got right, though, is including some of the personalities from the game as well as the traditional settings where the murder may have taken place. Forgive us for dropping hints with spoilers, but then again, if you're checking out this performance, there's a high probability you're well-versed in the concept behind Clue, the board game! Not only do the characters from the game show up, but so do their costumes from the original game. The production team has taken some liberties with costume design, but there is an attempt to keep it true to the source material.
