The Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular is coming back to the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis with a brand new show! This iconic Elvis extravaganza is set to take place on Friday, January 9th, because what better way to bring in the new year than with The King? At this particular show, the audience has a chance to see the multiple faces of Elvis! Over the years, they've done a tremendous job of bringing in performers who are able to replicate an Elvis era on the stage. You go from that young man who was just comin' out of Tupelo, Mississippi, to the Vegas Elvis with the now legendary pearly white outfits. It's a night to remember the legend, play classic tracks, and why not, maybe even play the part in the crowd. There's no rule stating you can't dress up like Elvis to be at this performance. The only rule is that you need a ticket to be inside the Murat Theatre for this one, so click the "Buy Tickets" link now.
The Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular has been celebrating the King of Rock and Roll for years with this concept of having multiple Elvis impersonators take the stage. This year, at least around this January 9th date, when the show makes its way to the Murat Theatre, the run is being called the Birthday Tour. That's because the King's birthday falls on January 8th. That means that if you make your way to this performance, you'll be enjoying the music of Elvis Presley almost 91 years to the day that he first saw the light. What a way to honor a legend!
You won't just see one Elvis take the stage at the Murat Theater in this show. Shawn Klush, BBC1’s “World’s Greatest Elvis”, Cody Ray Slaughter, and Ryan Pelton will all be taking the stage impersonating the king. In a sense, this performance has the makings of a musical where you'll get to experience the evolution of character through the years. Of course, in this case, the character in question is "The King" himself. Don't think for one second, though, that this performance is all Elvis all the time. The quarter known as The Stamps, featuring the legendary Ed Enoch, is booked to open the show. It's a nice way to break the ice before the entire night turns into a rock and roll fest! When it's all set and done, the only guarantee is that you'll have had a blast in the process.
If you want to treat this like a full-blown rock show, then be sure to locate seats near the stage. From here, you'll have direct interaction with the performers. A lot of these Elvis impersonations go beyond just the music; audience interaction becomes a major part of the show. Having a spot near the stage allows you to take that in. Of course, you can also opt for a place further back with added legroom and a direct line to the bar to make sure you're always ready for the next song! It comes down to what you're looking to get out of this performance.
If you want to celebrate The King's birthday with some of the best versions of him, be sure to click that "Buy Tickets" link real soon.
