Murat Theatre's intimate setting will be a perfect venue for The Oak Ridge Boys concert this June 29. The Grammy award-winning country-gospel band has recently announced that they will embark on their farewell tour, and they include the famous Indianapolis, Indiana venue as part of their 19-date tour.

"We are doing a farewell tour because we owe it to our fans to say goodbye," says William Lee Golden, one of the current four members of the band. Recognizing that their fans have been there for them through the good times and the bad, Golden aims to give their fans a memorable tour.

With a career spanning half a century, the Oak Ridge Boys is undoubtedly one of the greatest country and gospel bands in the world. Through their illustrious career, the band has left a legacy of timeless music that will last a lifetime. Now that the legendary group is ready to take their final bow on stage, it is right that they will exit with a bang. And what is a more fitting goodbye than embarking on a farewell tour before hanging out their hats for good, right?

Dubbed the "American Made: Farewell Tour," the series of shows will not include the tenor Joe Bonsall who has been battling with an illness for quite some time. He is replaced by the 27-year-old singer-songwriter Ben James. Along with old-timers Richard Sterban, Duane Allen, and William Lee Golden, The Oak Ridge Boys will play some of their career-defining hits on this tour. Although the number of amazing songs would be hard to narrow down to fit a two-hour show, fans are guaranteed nothing but the best. Whether it’s the heartbreaking “I’ll Be True To You,” the hit “Elvira,” or the emotional “I Guess It Never Hurts To Hurt Sometimes,” the audience will never run out of songs to sing along to.

Catch them at the Murat Theatre at Old National Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 29. Prepare to have fun (and perhaps shed a tear) as the Oak Ridge Boys perform one of their final shows. Tickets are now available, and you can get yours by hitting the "Get Tickets" link.
